DevOps Engineer - Cloud, Infrastructure & Automation

Overview

We are seeking a DevOps Engineer III to support the development, deployment, and ongoing maintenance of enterprise platforms and cloud environments . This role sits at the intersection of infrastructure, networking, and automation , with a strong focus on troubleshooting, performance optimization, and continuous improvement .

What You’ll Do

• Manage and maintain cloud infrastructure and platform environments
• Monitor system performance and proactively identify and resolve issues
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges in partnership with internal teams and vendors
• Support network trials and proof-of-concept (PoC) initiatives
• Lead incident response , conduct root cause analysis , and implement long-term fixes
• Develop and maintain detailed engineering documentation:
  • Runbooks
  • Methods of Procedure (MOPs)
  • Configuration documentation
• Contribute to automation initiatives to improve operational efficiency
• Collaborate across teams to support knowledge sharing and operational excellence

• Docker, Kubernetes

Monitoring & Observability

• Grafana, Datadog, Splunk

Data Formats

• YAML, JSON, XML

Security

• Network hardening practices
• Cybersecurity frameworks

Additional Qualifications

• Experience working in multi-cloud environments (public and private)
• Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
• Excellent communication and cross-team collaboration abilities
• Comfortable working in fast-paced environments with tight deadlines

Nice to Have

• Experience supporting large-scale enterprise platforms
• Exposure to network-focused DevOps environments
• Background in continuous integration / continuous delivery (CI/CD) practices

This is a Contract position based out of Denver, CO.

The pay range for this position is $50.00 - $70.00/hr.
