TIG Welder Fabricator

Job Description Job Description The TIG Welding Fabricator is responsible for fabricating and welding various components for the production department as per drawing specifications, safety procedures, approved weld procedures and quality assurance requirements. Roles & Responsibilities Perform high-quality welding on stainless steel and aluminum components in accordance with industry specifications and standards. Set up and operate welding equipment while following proper safety procedures at all times Read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and welding procedures. Apply specifications accurately to ensure proper fit-up and weld quality. Conduct inspections of welds to ensure compliance with quality control standards. Identify defects and take corrective action to maintain consistent weld quality. Collaborate with team members to plan and execute welding projects efficiently. Communicate effectively with supervisors and coworkers to meet project timelines and goals. Maintain a clean and organized work area in compliance with company safety policies and procedures. Follow all required safety protocols while operating equipment and performing welding tasks Perform complex crane lifts as required to support fabrication and assembly activities. Education & Experience Minimum of 2 years of welding and fabrication experience in a manufacturing or industrial environment. Completion of a Welding Certificate program an asset. CWB certification or C-Ticket (or higher) is considered a strong asset.
