The Role We are seeking an AI & Security Administrator to help us safely unlock the power of AI across our organization. This is a hands‑on role responsible for enabling Microsoft365 Copilot and AI capabilities in a HIPAA‑regulated environment , while ensuring strong data protection, governance, and infrastructure stability. You’ll design AI‑driven solutions, guide teams in adopting Copilot effectively, and maintain a secure, high‑performing IT environment across cloud and on‑prem systems. This role blends AI enablement, cybersecurity, and systems administration—ideal for someone who wants to build the future while protecting it. What You’ll Do AI Enablement & Copilot Strategy Design, build, and maintain AI agents and workflows (e.g., policy Q&A, reporting, onboarding support) Configure secure data access across SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and approved sources Drive adoption through training, prompt coaching, and user support Monitor usage patterns and continuously improve quality, reliability, and compliance Security & Data Protection Implement and manage controls to protect PHI and sensitive business data Configure and maintain Microsoft Purview (DLP, sensitivity labels, governance policies) Administer Entra ID, MFA, Conditional Access, and role‑based access controls Support secure collaboration across Teams, SharePoint, and external sharing Infrastructure & Cloud Operations Administer Windows Server environments (Active Directory, GPO, patching, backup/recovery) Support Azure and GCP environments (identity, networking, storage, VMs) Maintain secure system configurations and ensure operational reliability Contribute to architecture decisions and vendor evaluations Operations & Continuous Improvement Participate in IT ticket triage and issue resolution Drive automation, standardization, and proactive risk reduction Support compliance efforts including SOC2Type2, HITRUST, and HIPAA What Makes You a Fit You think like a builder and a protector You are curious about AI but grounded in security and governance You balance innovation with discipline You communicate clearly and collaborate easily across teams You are organized, accountable, and solutions‑oriented Qualifications Experience 5+ years in IT, security, or systems administration Hands‑on experience with Microsoft365 (Teams, SharePoint, Exchange, OneDrive) Experience with Microsoft Purview (DLP and/or sensitivity labels) Experience enabling Copilot or building AI workflows in Microsoft environments Strong foundation in information security principles Working knowledge of Azure and GCP Scripting/automation experience (PowerShell preferred) Nice to Have Experience with SFTP environments Experience with network infrastructure (e.g., Cisco Meraki) Exposure to compliance frameworks (SOC2, HITRUST, HIPAA) Hybrid: 2 days onsite / 3 days remote Indianapolis‑based team Collaborative, fast‑moving, and mission‑driven Why Vital Incite Work at the intersection of healthcare, data, and AI innovation Be part of a team that values curiosity, ownership, and impact Help organizations reduce waste and improve outcomes in healthcare Collaborate with smart, driven teammates who enjoy what they do (and occasionally a good office dance move) #J-18808-Ljbffr
