What You'll Do
- Advise developers, institutional investors, family offices, private equity sponsors, lenders, landlords, and owners on sophisticated commercial real estate matters
- Handle commercial acquisitions and dispositions
- Work on complex office, retail, industrial, and mixed-use leasing transactions
- Assist with development projects and joint ventures
- Advise on borrower and lender-side real estate finance matters
- Support asset management and portfolio transactions
- Provide strategic commercial advice to high-profile real estate investors and owners
- Take ownership of transactions, negotiate directly with counterparties, and work closely with highly regarded partners
What You'll Need
- 4+ years' commercial real estate experience gained at a respected law firm
- Admission to the New York Bar
- A passion for commercial leasing, particularly within the New York market
- Experience handling sophisticated acquisitions, dispositions, commercial leasing, and real estate finance matters
- Excellent drafting, negotiation, and communication skills
