Caregiver In-Home Senior Care (Short Day Shifts Available) Senior Helpers South Tacoma is actively seeking compassionate and dependable caregivers who are available for short daytime shifts (typically 35 hours). These shifts are essential in helping our clients with daily routines, companionship, and support throughout the day. What We're Looking For We are specifically looking for caregivers who: Are available for short daytime shifts (35 hours) Are dependable and consistent with their availability Enjoy building relationships and providing companionship Are comfortable working in a variety of home environments Caregivers who are open to shorter shifts often have opportunities to build into more consistent hours over time. Responsibilities As a caregiver, your work may include: Companionship and conversation Assistance with daily activities (dressing, mobility, hygiene) Light housekeeping and meal preparation Supporting routines and providing supervision Observing and reporting changes in condition Documentation Expectations Caregivers are required to complete detailed shift notes in our caregiving app at the end of every visit. This includes documenting care provided, client condition, any changes or concerns. Caregivers who take pride in clear, thorough documentation are highly valued on our team.
