Registered Nurse Emergency Department

Schedule: Nights 7a-7p

Assignment Details:

• Contract Length: 13 weeks
• Guaranteed Hours: Not specified

Requirements:

• Current Registered Nurse license
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required
• At least 2 years of experience in the Emergency Department
• 1 year of previous critical care nursing experience required

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Assess patients during admission and throughout their stay
• Administer IV medications, therapy, and blood as needed
• Provide patient education
• Document nursing care actions, teaching, observations, and patient responses

Compliance / Notes:

• Travelers with hits/actions on License/Background will not be accepted.
• Must be willing and able to work charge nurse and preceptor roles if needed.
• Orientation: Up to 16 hours may be unpaid.
• The facility reserves the right to cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week contract.
• Candidates must reside outside of a 50-mile radius.
