Responsibilities
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate individualized patient care for ER patients.
- Provide clinical leadership to the patient care team during the shift.
- Triage patients, monitor vital signs, administer medications, and respond to emergencies.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team; document care accurately in the medical record; ensure patient safety and quality outcomes.
- Discharge planning and patient/family education; coordinate with ancillary services as needed.

Requirements
- Active Illinois RN license (Nursys verification required)
- BLS, ACLS, and PALS active per American Heart Association
- TNCC - preferred but not required
- Minimum 3+ years ER experience
- Two supervisory reference forms completed with dates employed listed
- Permanent address outside a 50-mile radius of Mattoon, IL (assignment location)
