Job Description Job Description Job Opportunity: Heart Failure Specialist Our organization is excited to announce an opening for a Heart Failure specialist within the Department of Cardiology. This position is based at the Sandra Atlas Bass Heart Hospital at North Shore University Hospital and the Long Island Jewish Medical Center, both of which are part of a leading cardiovascular care network in New York. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive care for patients with advanced heart failure. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including cardiologists, surgeons, nurse practitioners, and other healthcare professionals. Engage in cardiopulmonary exercise testing, hemodynamic monitoring, LVAD implantation, cardiac transplantation, advanced imaging, and electrophysiology. Participate in clinical trials and research initiatives. Support patients with additional conditions, such as pulmonary hypertension. Qualifications Candidates must be Board Certified or Board Eligible in Cardiovascular Disease and Advanced Heart Failure. An interest in pulmonary hypertension is a plus.
