Business Analyst I

Our client, Independence Blue Cross, is currently seeking a Business Analyst I to join their team in Philadelphia, PA. This is a hybrid position requiring onsite attendance 3 days per week and is a contract opportunity through December 2026.

Responsibilities:

• Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders and end users
• Assist with business process analysis and identify opportunities for improvement
• Collaborate with business and technical teams to support project initiatives
• Create and maintain requirements documents, process flows, reports, and meeting notes
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and solution validation activities
• Analyze business challenges and provide recommendations for process improvements
• Assist with project coordination and cross-functional team activities
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders throughout the project lifecycle

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Business Analytics, Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Analytics, or a related field
• Recent graduates and candidates with 0-3 years of experience are encouraged to apply
• Experience with business analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, or project support preferred
• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to work effectively in a collaborative team environment
• Exposure to SQL, Figma, UX Design, Visual Studio, Jira, Tableau, Power BI, or Excel is a plus
• Understanding of SDLC, Agile methodologies, and stakeholder management preferred
• Must be able to work onsite in Philadelphia, PA 3 days per week
• Must reside within the PA, NJ, or DE tri-state area
