This full-time, remote position offers the unique opportunity to support individuals in overcoming challenges associated with depression, bipolar disorder, and anxiety, contributing to their overall mental wellness.

Work Environment\n

The successful candidate will benefit from a flexible remote work environment, conducive to focusing on patient care and personal well-being. Regular office hours are Monday through Friday from 9:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with the possibility of occasional evening or weekend shifts to accommodate client needs. Key Responsibilities\n

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients’ mood disorder symptoms, understanding their severity, frequency, and impact on daily life.

  • Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that align with each client’s unique goals and circumstances, collaborating closely with them to promote engagement and ownership of the therapeutic process.

  • Utilize evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), providing tailored support that addresses the individual needs of clients dealing with mood disorders.

  • Education is key; provide clients and their families with information about mood disorders, potential treatment options, and effective self-care strategies.

  • Monitor client progress throughout the treatment journey, re-evaluating and adjusting treatment plans based on their evolving needs and outcomes.

  • Work collaboratively with psychiatrists and healthcare professionals to ensure an integrated, multidisciplinary approach to mental health care, enhancing treatment effectiveness.

  • Stay informed on the latest research and advancements in the field of mood disorders to continually refine treatment methodologies.

  • Accurately document all clinical interactions in compliance with legal and ethical standards, maintaining confidentiality while ensuring best practices in record-keeping.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Rapha, you will primarily serve clients grappling with various mood disorders, including but not limited to, major depressive disorder, bipolar disorder, and anxiety-related conditions. Your work will directly impact the lives of diverse individuals, helping them navigate their mental health challenges and fostering a pathway toward improved emotional resilience and stability.

Qualifications\n

  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
  • \n
  • Current and valid licensure as an LCSW, LCPC, or LCMFT in the state of Kansas.
  • \n
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience post-licensure, particularly in the treatment of mood disorders.
  • \n
  • Proficient in evidence-based treatment modalities, particularly CBT and DBT, with a strong foundation in psychopharmacology.
  • \n
Preferred Experience\n

  • Experience in a community health setting or outpatient clinical environment.
  • \n
  • Additional training or certifications in specialized therapeutic techniques related to mood disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
