Job Summary
Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurse (RN) Location: Not specified. This role involves providing specialized care to adult and geriatric patients within a critical care setting. The position requires adapting to dynamic patient needs, including managing ventilated patients and those requiring advanced cardiac and respiratory support.

Job Details

• Position Description: The ICU RN will care for adult and geriatric patients, potentially including COVID-19 patients, in a busy 10-bed unit. Responsibilities involve managing dysrhythmias, arterial lines, central lines, and titrating cardiac and vasoactive drips. The role may include float duties to Medical Surgical units if needed.
• Required Qualifications: Valid RN license, ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) certification, BLS (Basic Life Support) certification, EPIC charting system experience, a minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in a similar setting, and at least 1 year of previous ICU or acute care experience.
• Schedule: Dayshift, 12-hour shifts, with a minimum of 36 hours per week.
• Additional Information: The assignment involves working during major holidays, with at least one or two holidays required depending on the schedule. The unit is Tobacco and fragrance-free. The candidate must have antibiotic and infection control experience, be able to care for ventilated patients, and have recent orientation hours if applicable.
• Submission Requirements: Candidates must be willing to work holiday shifts, including Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's. The candidate must meet certification and clinical skill requirements outlined in the qualifications.
