TravelNurseSource is working with Cynet Health to find a qualified Med/Surg / Tele RN in Garden City, Kansas, 67846!

Job Title: RN Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Telemetry Duration: 13 weeks Shift: 12H Nights Hours per Shift: 36 hours per week Experience: 2 years of Telemetry experience required License: Current RN license required Certifications: BLS, ACLS, NIHSS Description: Unit Notes: Hiring Process: Candidate Interview with Clinical Team. Travelers are expected to float throughout the assigned zone. Each zone covers a 60-mile radius from the zone's city center. The traveler is responsible for obtaining housing that makes this feasible. The requirement to float applies regardless of housing location. Clinicians must be available in-state for the week of orientation. No home base facility is available. Schedules are released 4-6 weeks in advance. Travelers are expected to be flexible and help fill gaps in permanent scheduling. All time off requests must be submitted prior to starting the assignment. Weekend requirements include 6-9 weekend shifts in a 6-week schedule. May be asked to participate in holiday rotation. Call or standby requirements are rare and only for low census situations. Assignments may include floating into any acuity level. Charge nurses do not take patient assignments unless necessary. Patient ratios are 1:5-6 based on acuity. Required experience includes 2 years of Med-Surg and Telemetry experience in the last 3 years. Prior neuro experience is preferred. Experience with specific equipment and charting systems is beneficial. Common patient populations include adults and geriatrics. Common diagnoses include cardiac, neuro, orthopedic, oncology, renal, and post-surgical patients. Travelers will receive float assignments to clarify work locations for each schedule.
