We are looking for a skilled Medical Director to oversee an inpatient behavioral health facility, ensuring the effective management of all clinical programs and services. This physician leader will take charge of medical administration, clinical oversight, financial management, and the creation of high-quality, patient-focused care in collaboration with the Senior Leadership Team.

Key Responsibilities

• Act as a vital member of the executive leadership team, working closely with the CEO, CFO, COO, and EVP.
• Provide both strategic and operational guidance across all clinical services.
• Formulate, propose, and execute clinical policies, procedures, and standards of care.
• Oversee and coordinate psychiatric services, including management of medical staff and APRNs.
• Ensure the quality, safety, and efficacy of all psychiatric and medical care provided to hospitalized patients.
• Maintain a limited clinical caseload of up to six patients.
• Participate in shared weekend and evening on-call duties with other employed physicians.

Education & Experience Requirements

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical institution.
• Board Certification in Adult or Child Psychiatry.
• A minimum of five years of leadership experience in inpatient behavioral health services.
• Active medical license in Massachusetts.
• Current DEA registration.
• Proven experience in program development and implementation.
• Excellent communication, collaboration, and interpersonal leadership abilities.
