We are looking for a passionate and driven Medical Assistant for our Hartford, CT market representing a critical part of our care delivery team.
Key Responsibilities- Perform patient evaluations and submit them to the Medical Director (wound pictures and wound measurements).
- Responsible for drawing blood from patients
- Confirm you have the proper supplies for patient visits for the provider, order supplies, and make sure supplies are properly stocked at all times
- Assisting provider in procedures with direction from provider
- Provide effective, efficient, professional, and timely communication with patients, family, coworkers, management and care partners.
- Take notes from provider and input into EMR and other related documentation
- Position consists of traveling to various patients homes
- Assist in implementation of United Wound Cares clinical and operational protocols.
- All other tasks and action items as requested and approved by leadership.
- Medical Assistant Diploma
- Certified Medical Assistant
- Ability to and willingness to travel, treating patients in various SNFs (Skilled Nursing Facilities) throughout the Louisville, KY area as needed.
- Experience in Wound Care is a plus.
