Forklift Mechanic / TechnicianLift Truck Parts and Service, is a family owned forklift business with excellent pay and benefits.We are growing and have an opening for a full shop forklift technician to perform maintenance and repairs on new and used forklifts.Job DutiesTroubleshoot, diagnose and repair LP propane, electric forklifts of all makes and modelsPerform all assigned planned maintenance on rental and customer forklift trucksPerform pre delivery inspections on new equipmentEnsure all safety items on each forklift are properly maintained and functionalKeep paperwork and proper records of each jobKeep shop and yard cleanTag all equipment coming into shopMust have own tools to perform dutiesComplete any other assigned tasks to contribute to effective operation of the service & repair departmentExperience:Previous automotive or equipment repair experience is preferred, but not requiredAttention to detail with strong organizational skillsAbility to follow established procedures and practices and read instructionsHourly pay is competitive depending on experience.BenefitsHealth insurance401k retirement savings planPaid holidaysPaid vacationSick time40 hours a weekEducation:High school or equivalent (preferred)
