Member Assist Cart Attendant

Join to apply for the Member Assist Cart Attendant role at Sam's Club Base pay range: $17.00/hr - $24.00/hr Position Summary You help shape our member’s entire shopping experience by giving them a positive first and last impression. As a Member Assist Cart Attendant, you ensure members see a well‑kept parking lot by keeping carts ready and assisting members with their purchases. You also help members load their vehicles and create a great member experience, standing at the park, sweeping the lot and deploying carts during all weather conditions. Responsibilities Take pride in a fast‑paced environment, keeping the parking lot clean and carts available. Stand for long periods of time while assisting members quickly and accurately. Problem‑solve obstacles head‑on to ensure each task is completed with excellence. Maintain a positive attitude by smiling, greeting and thanking members. Answer member questions and provide exceptional customer service across the club. Maintain a clean, neat, member‑ready area and ensure carts/flatbeds are organized. Complete safety sweeps, adhere to safety policies and report unsafe situations. Handle member orders, notifying members of delays or availability issues and proposing alternatives. Process member purchases, including cash and other payment methods, using cash registers. Assist members with transportation of merchandise, using cart retrieval equipment as needed.
