Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, cook, assemble, and package menu items accurately following company recipes and food safety standards
• Operate and maintain kitchen equipment such as grills, fryers, and freezers safely
• Ensure food quality, consistency, and presentation meet Dairy Queen® standards
• Stock ingredients, rotate inventory, and complete food preparation tasks efficiently
• Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary work area throughout the shift
• Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members for smooth operations
• Provide friendly and courteous service, responding positively to customer needs
• Report any equipment issues or safety concerns promptly to supervisors
• Support opening, closing, and shift duties including cleaning grill and prep areas
• Collaborate with the team to achieve high standards of food quality and customer satisfaction

Required Qualifications

• Positive, team-oriented attitude with strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment with attention to detail
• Commitment to food safety, sanitation, and health regulations
• Dependable, punctual, self-motivated, and coachable with a willingness to learn
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds
• Availability to work flexible schedules including evenings, weekends, and holidays
• Comfortable working in varying temperatures around grills, fryers, and refrigerated areas

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in restaurant, quick-service, or food service environments
• Experience operating commercial kitchen equipment
• Knowledge of food preparation, inventory rotation, and sanitation practices
• Strong work ethic and enthusiasm for contributing to a customer-focused team
• Desire to grow professionally and pursue advancement opportunities
