Dr. Malcolm Hayward, Dr. Dan Bradford, and Dr. Thad Beck knew that patients do better at home, in the community where they live and work, and where their support system is already in place. Job Summary This position is primarily responsible for the accounting for and management of cash. Works on delegated tasks as assigned by the CFO or Controller. Job Duties / Responsibilities Prepare and record daily deposits from multiple locations. Maintain banking records and files. Review daily banking positive pay. Enter daily ACH activity. Issue payments as directed by accounting staff. Prepare monthly shared services billings. Foster a collaborative team environment and act as a resource and mentor to other team members. Exercise absolute discretion concerning all company accounting matters. Maintain good personal relations and communication with fellow staff. Work on various other management projects as requested by the CFO or Controller. Act as backup for Controller, Budget Analyst, and Staff Accountant. May act as backup for Payroll. Required Skills/Abilities Familiarity with accounting software and advanced Excel skills. NetSuite and Concur experience preferred. Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail. Ability to effectively communicate with department leaders and directors and explain reports and data analysis in easily understandable language. Certifications/Licenses/Education or Experience in a related field High School Diploma or GED equivalent. Minimum three years of accounting or related experience. Experience in medical practice, CPA, and supervisory skills preferred. Physical Requirements Sitting for prolonged periods of time at a desk. Computer use that requires visual acuity, typing, use of mouse/keyboard, and staring at a screen for extended periods of time. Occasionally lifting objects of up to 25 pounds such as files, office supplies, assisting patients when needed, etc. Walking and standing for continuous periods around the office or clinic as needed. Fine motor skills for tasks like typing, writing, handling small objects or equipment and materials. Adequate mobility for daily interactions and moving throughout the office and clinic spaces.
