Job Description As a Security Officer Full Time Unarmed Patrol Driver in Katy, TX , you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Tech/Media/Telecom, and more. As a Patrol Unarmed Officer at a dynamic technology, media, and telecommunications location, you will conduct routine patrols, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and provide exceptional customer service and communication. This driving post requires a valid driver's license in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Position Type: Full Time Pay Rate: $17.26 / Hour Pre-Employment Requirements (Contractual) Valid Driver's License Job Schedule DayTime Tue 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM Wed 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Thur 07:00 AM - 07:00 PM Fri 07:00 AM - 03:00 PM What You'll Do Provide customer service to employees, visitors, contractors, and/or delivery personnel by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities. Conduct regular and random foot and/or vehicle patrols of technology-focused facilities, office areas, parking areas, loading docks, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and report unusual conditions. Monitor access points and visitor activity, verify authorization in accordance with site procedures, and maintain accurate logs and incident documentation. Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns to appropriate site contacts and/or emergency responders. Observe and report potential hazards, facility concerns, and security-related issues while maintaining a professional presence in a fast-paced business environment. Minimum Requirements A valid driver's license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements. Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles. Possess a high school diploma or equivalent. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws. Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws. As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
