ATM Support Engineer
Optomi, in partnership with a leading organization in the financial technology industry, is seeking an ATM Support Engineer to join their team in Valparaiso, Indiana. This individual will be responsible for supporting, testing, and troubleshooting ATM hardware and software within a specialized lab environment. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with ATM platforms such as Diebold Nixdorf, Hyosung, NCR, or similar technologies.

- Taking ownership of ATM troubleshooting, testing, and system improvements.

Responsibilities of the right candidate:
- Install, configure, test, and maintain ATM hardware and software systems.
- Troubleshoot ATM functionality, connectivity, and software issues.
- Perform software downloads, updates, and functionality testing in an ATM lab environment.
- Support ATM technicians with technical issues and system troubleshooting.
- Assist with ATM deployments, upgrades, and software releases.
- Monitor ATM performance and resolve technical issues to ensure reliable operations.
- Collaborate with internal teams and vendors to support ATM systems and improvements.
Experience of the right candidate:
- 5+ years of experience supporting ATM systems, banking infrastructure, or payment technologies.
- Hands-on experience with ATM hardware and software platforms, including Diebold Nixdorf, Hyosung, NCR, or similar technologies.
- Experience with ATM testing, troubleshooting, software installations, and system upgrades.
- Knowledge of Windows Server, Linux, and basic networking technologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
- Experience supporting ATM deployments and working with technical support teams.
- Familiarity with ATM driving, transaction processing, ISO 8583, or ATM integration technologies is a plus.
