Registered Nurse - Labor & Delivery

This is a 13-week contract position.

Night shift, 3x12-hour, from 19:00 to 07:00.

The registered nurse will provide essential care in the Labor & Delivery unit, facilitating a safe and supportive environment for mothers and newborns. Responsibilities include monitoring patient conditions, delivering competent care during labor, and ensuring adherence to Baby Friendly guidelines.

Responsibilities:

Monitor the health and status of mothers and infants throughout the labor process.
Participate in childbirth education and support families through the delivery process.
Administer prescribed medications and treatments as necessary.
Document patient care and outcomes using the facility's charting system.
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

Minimum 2 years of nursing experience preferred, with at least 1 year of Labor & Delivery experience required.
Current certifications: NRP and EFM.
ACLS certification is required.
State RN licensure is required.
