Dermatology Medical Assistant - Charlotte NC (CHA)

QualDerm Partners is seeking a compassionate and skilled Dermatology Medical Assistant to join our team in Charlotte, NC. Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for examination by obtaining vital signs and medical histories.
• Assist physicians during examinations and procedures by providing necessary tools and support.
• Perform basic laboratory tests and manage specimen processing.
• Maintain accurate and confidential patient records following regulatory standards.
• Coordinate appointment scheduling and manage effective communication within the clinic.
• Educate patients about treatment plans, medications, and skincare routines.
• Ensure examination rooms are clean, organized, and fully stocked with medical supplies.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent; Medical Assistant certification preferred.
• Experience in a Medical Assistant role or clinical healthcare environment is highly desirable.
• Knowledge of dermatology-related medical terminology and procedures.
• Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, for positive patient interactions.
• Ability to handle sensitive patient information with confidentiality and professionalism.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail in a fast-paced clinical setting.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) systems and basic office software is beneficial.
