As an Automotive Body Repairer, you will work closely with clients to build strong relationships, thoroughly inspect and evaluate vehicles, and provide accurate, honest estimates for repair. You will also assist with repairing vehicles, managing multiple repair projects at once, and working closely with coworkers to ensure work is completed properly and on time. The ideal candidate has previous autobody experience, excellent customer service and communication skills, and strong attention to detail. Responsibilities Works and communicates with others on vehicle repair status. Performs quality repairs while keeping on-time status in mind. Makes decisions on repair vs. replace considering safety, cost, and cycle time. Removes upholstery, accessories, electrical and hydraulic window operating equipment, and trim to gain access to vehicle and fenders. Files, grinds, and sands repaired surfaces, using power tools and hand tools.
