Mammography Radiologic Technologist

Assignment Duration

This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Day shift available from 08:00 AM to 04:30 PM or 08:30 AM to 05:00 PM, depending on location.

Job Description

Seeking a skilled Mammography Radiologic Technologist to join our team. The successful candidate will float between two facilities located approximately 15 miles apart. This role primarily focuses on adult and geriatric patient care in an outpatient setting.

Responsibilities

• Perform 3-D mammography, diagnostic mammograms, and screening mammograms.
• Conduct stereotactic biopsies and needle localizations.
• Handle fine needle aspirations as required.
• Ensure compliance with digital quality assurance procedures and radiation safety protocols.
• Maintain isolation precautions and universal precautions/core measures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Current BLS certification.
• ARRT (M) certification.
• California Mammographic Radiologic Technologist license.
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in mammography required.
