Supervisor Neurodiagnostic – Imaging Neurophys EEG CHRISTUS Health – San Antonio, TX – Full Time Job Overview Responsible for the daily operation and supervision of personnel in the Neurodiagnostic Lab and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Performs all relevant duties of a Neurodiagnostic Technologist II or higher, assists the Director in providing quality services in an efficient manner by ensuring appropriate staffing, development of new programs, policies, procedures and protocols, coordination of quality practices, management of expenses and productivity, and integration of neurodiagnostic equipment with organizational IT services. Responsibilities Meet expectations of the applicable OneCHRISTUS Competencies: Leader of Self, Leader of Others, or Leader of Leaders. Perform all functions of a Neurotechnologist. Oversee daily supervision, coordination, safety, technical, and quality aspects of the Neurodiagnostic Lab and the Epilepsy Monitoring Unit. Serve as a resource in coordinating clinical and technical operations in accordance with institutional, state, and federal standards. Assist in reviewing and revising department policies and procedures to ensure compliance and accreditation. Work with department leadership to achieve department goals, including budget and operational priorities. Promote teamwork and manage team members and directions. Supervise, perform, or assist with Neurodiagnostic and Epilepsy Monitoring procedures, quality control of reports, transportation, and coordination of patients and related duties of technologists and ancillary personnel. Coordinate training of employees and students. Work closely with the Health Systems Information Management team to ensure timely capture of all neurophysiologic testing and network transmission of data. Provide findings, results, and descriptive analysis; strong communication skills are essential. Perform standard and complex electroencephalograms (EEG), evoked potentials (EP), nerve conduction studies (NCS), long‑term monitoring (LTM), Epilepsy Monitoring Unit (EMU), and intraoperative neurophysiologic monitoring (IONM). Participate in organizational leadership meetings and initiatives as assigned. Education High school graduate or equivalent required. Related Associate’s Degree of Applied Science or equivalent. Experience 3 years of experience in an acute neurodiagnostic setting. 2 years of Inpatient Epilepsy Monitoring Unit experience. Experience with integration of Neurodiagnostic Technology and Electronic Medical Record Systems. Experience with coordination of staff and patient scheduling. Experience orienting and precepting students and new staff. Licenses, Registrations, or Certifications Minimum of one ABRET registry/certification: CLTM, CNIM, R.EEG.T, R.EP.T, or R.ED.T.
