Sr Director Of It Strategy And TransformationAs a Sr Director of IT Strategy and Transformation at Honeywell Technologies, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving the Process Technology (PT) IT transformation and strategy. You will lead strategic planning, portfolio governance, and transformational alignment. With oversight of the Business Information Security Officers (BISOs) and the Change Management/User Experience (CM/UX) functions, you ensure technology investments are aligned to PT's goals and executed for maximum impact. You will bring bold thought leadership, an external perspective, and an enterprise-wide lens to simplify the IT landscape, disrupt outdated models, and transform how technology drives business value. You will report directly to the CIO of PT.ResponsibilitiesStrategy & AOPOwn the development and execution of the PT IT strategy and multi-year transformation roadmap.Lead the AOP IT planning process, aligning investment priorities with enterprise business objectives.Partner with Center IT and PT business leaders to identify where to simplify, scale, and modernize technology capabilities.Provide strategic insights and recommendations to the PT CIO and executive leadership team.Drive the Accelerator within PT IT to fast-track digital transformation across PT.Portfolio Leadership & GovernanceOwn and manage the PT IT investment and project portfolio, ensuring each initiative supports simplification, speed, and measurable value.Lead governance processes for demand intake, prioritization, performance tracking, and risk mitigation.Drive transparency and accountability across initiatives to ensure resource alignment and business impact.Enterprise Transformation AlignmentServe as the connective tissue across major initiatives such as: ERP transformation; Mergers, Acquisitions & Spins (M&A); Customer Experience (CX) & Commercial Digitalization; Connected Products & ServicesEnsuring initiatives are strategically integrated, sequenced, and executed to enable enterprise transformation and reduce duplication and friction.Leadership of BISO, EA and CM/UX CapabilitiesLead the BISO organization, ensuring cybersecurity and risk management are embedded in strategic IT decisions and business engagements.Oversee the Change Management and User Experience (CM/UX) resources to enable high-impact user adoption and frictionless transformation.Oversee Licensing, Enterprise Architecture (EA) and Cloud utilization in partnership with Center IT EA and Cloud functions, ensuring scalable and secure technology platforms.Ensure tight integration across ESS IT and delivery to drive secure, usable, and scalable solutions.Thought Leadership & InnovationBring bold, forward-thinking perspectives to disrupt the status quo and position IT as a competitive differentiator.Stay abreast of industry trends, technology disruptions, and evolving operating models; translate those insights into actionable plans.Promote innovation, experimentation, and speed across IT teams to unlock growth and customer value.Team Leadership & Talent DevelopmentBuild and lead a high-performing strategy and transformation team with deep expertise in strategic planning, portfolio management, and change enablement.Foster a culture of curiosity, collaboration, and transformation that energizes teams to think big and execute with discipline.Champion continuous improvement and leadership development across the function.QualificationsYOU MUST HAVE10+ years of relatable IT experienceAbility to work under pressure and manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Strong project management and organizational skills.WE VALUEMaster's degree in IT or related fieldLeadership experience in two or more Information Technology, Engineering or Strategy functional areasStrong technical, quantitative, and analytical skillsUnderstanding of key information technology solutions and practicesStrong business/financial acumen and ability to translate new technology into business value.Results MindsetDrive, passion, conceptional thinking and pragmatic mindsetHigh motivation and passion for technology and a demonstrated capacity to deal with ambiguity and overcome challengesDriving "fast and right" results in a matrixed environmentCreation of result-oriented Management Operating SystemConveys specific, observable, and measurable expectations for each assignmentLeadershipExcellent communication, interpersonal, and relationship-building skills.Leading and developing teams.Ability to work and lead in a fast-paced, dynamic team and environment.Excellent leadership communication and executive presence.Effectively demonstrates ability to deliver in complex situations and resolve critical opportunities.Creative and collaborative problem-solving capability.Consistently makes timely decisions even in the face of complexity.Provide strategic oversight into the Program Management Office (PMO), ensuring effective governance and delivery of key initiatives.The annual base salary range for this position in Illinois is $214,000 - $268,000. This position is incentive plan eligible. Please note that this salary information serves as a general guideline.
