Step into a professional contract opportunity supporting K–12 students with their social, emotional, and academic growth for the 2026–2027 school year. This on-site position is perfect for experienced school psychologists or psychometrists who are passionate about making a real impact. You’ll serve a diverse group of students across locations in the Mobile, AL, area, with the possibility of an itinerant assignment depending on testing demands. Specific school sites will be determined as the school year approaches.

The assignment begins October 1, 2026, and continues through May 26, 2027, with a possibility to extend based on your performance and district needs for Extended School Year or Next School Year periods.

In this role, you will:

• Conduct psychoeducational evaluations for K–12 students
• Interpret assessment data and write comprehensive reports
• Collaborate with educators, parents, and multidisciplinary teams
• Participate in eligibility, IEP, and intervention planning meetings
• Provide on-site consultation regarding best practices for student support

Desired experience and qualifications:

• Active Alabama school psychology license or psychometrist educator certification (present images of licenses)
• Demonstrated success with school-based assessments and psychological services
• Ability to support multiple schools as assigned (itinerant work may be required)
• Commitment to maintaining professionalism and confidentiality
• Excellent communication and organizational abilities

Candidates should be available for in-person interviews starting August 26, 2026, with open slots after September 4, 2026.
