Due to an expansion of services, we are seeking an additional full-time Clinician for our community-based, comprehensive programs in New Bedford. Total Compensation: Also, this full-time position is eligible for a $5,000 hiring bonus provided in 2 installments at 3 and 6 months of employment. Starting salary ranges are based on having less than 2 years’ experience and are negotiable commensurate with more experience. Additional compensation is provided for bilingual skills, clinical intervention after hours, on-call rotation, supervision of interns, and becoming certified to facilitate Risking Connection Trauma-Informed training, and Crisis Prevention Institute (CPI) training. Life Insurance (group term life equal to 1.5 times one’s annual salary) Qualifications: Master’s degree in social work, counseling, or clinical psychology. Licensure eligible in the state of MA required. One to three years of prior experience with adolescent, latency, or young adult population in residential or community-based settings. A driver’s license and insured vehicle for employment. Responsibilities: Work within a team to provide direct mental health services to children, youth and families, promote their emotional, behavioral and psychological well-being, and help them navigate the challenges they face. Conduct comprehensive diagnostic evaluations, administer formal testing as required by licensing or contracting, and use assessment tools and interviews to gather relevant information and formulate individualized treatment plans. Provide in-home individual counseling, therapy and family therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment practices, and implement strategies and practices to engage children, youth and families. Utilize electronic health record system and state platforms to document and submit case documentation. Work collaboratively with external service providers and state partners to ensure an integrated approach to care. The position is not remote, requires some early evening hours to accommodate families and children’s schedules, and participation in the paid on-call rotation schedule.
