About the Role
The Company is in search of a Senior Vice President for Insurance Compliance to oversee and manage the regulatory compliance function across its diverse multi-entity insurance and reinsurance group. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring that all domestic P&C, life and annuity, and international insurance companies within the group adhere to the relevant insurance laws and regulations. This includes maintaining strong relationships with state insurance departments, leading the preparation and management of regulatory examinations, and being the primary point of contact for regulatory bodies. The role also involves reviewing and structuring transactions, agreements, and reinsurance contracts for compliance, as well as monitoring financial, investment, and statutory compliance across the entities. Applicants for this role at the company should have a minimum of 5-8 years' of experience in insurance regulatory compliance, with a strong preference for those holding a Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of NAIC model laws, insurance holding company acts, and multi-state regulatory practices. Key qualifications include the ability to manage compliance across multiple entities and jurisdictions, strong analytical and writing skills, and the capacity to provide clear guidance and training on compliance matters. The role requires a detail-oriented, proactive individual with a practical, solutions-focused approach, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
