Step into a rewarding contract role providing essential physical therapy services to a diverse and vibrant student population of 14,000. You'll have the flexibility to work in-person or in a hybrid format, supporting students across a district-wide setting near Joliet, IL, for the full 2026-2027 school year.

Your expertise as a school-based PT will be instrumental in delivering both direct and consultative services, performing evaluations, and actively participating in meetings focused on collaborative student care. With a full-time schedule ranging from 37.5 to 40 hours per week, you’ll play a critical role in helping students meet their physical goals and thrive in their academic environments.

Qualifications:

• Current Physical Therapy license in Illinois
• Experience working in school-based settings is strongly preferred
• Strong communication skills for consulting with staff and families
• Ability to manage a diverse caseload and perform thorough evaluations
• Team-oriented attitude with a passion for student growth and achievement

Your responsibilities will include:

• Delivering direct PT services to students district-wide
• Providing expert recommendations and consultations for staff and families
• Conducting evaluations to identify students' physical therapy needs
• Attending IEP and multidisciplinary meetings to support individualized student plans
• Documenting services and progress in compliance with school and state guidelines
