TMS Technician (Float)

About Us: Relief Mental Health was founded in February of 2020. Within these 4 years we have expanded to 10 new offices across Illinois, Wisconsin, and New Jersey. We aim to create a new standard for mental health care, offering a continuum of innovative therapeutic interventions and responding to evolving patient needs. Position Summary The TMS Float Technician plays a key role in supporting patient care and clinic operations. This role requires a highly professional, compassionate individual who can deliver excellent patient support while maintaining efficiency and compliance with clinical protocols. The position involves administering and monitoring treatments, coordinating with providers and leadership, managing patient interactions, and supporting daily clinic operations. This role requires a high level of flexibility, the ability to travel between all clinic locations, and the ability to adapt quickly to changing schedules and patient and operational needs. THIS IS A FLOAT POSITION- YOU MUST BE WILLING TO TRAVEL TO ALL OF OUR ILLINOIS LOCATIONS AND MUST BE WILLING TO WORK CLOSING SHIFTS Key Responsibilities Patient Experience & Front Office Support Greet and assist patients and visitors upon arrival Review all patient paperwork for completeness and accuracy Collect patient payments and complete superbills accurately Schedule appointments and maintain accurate scheduling records Respond to patient phone calls, voicemails, and emails Maintain a welcoming, supportive, and professional patient experience Patient Care & Treatment Administration Deliver a high level of professionalism, empathy, and compassionate support to patients, families, and colleagues Accurately set up, administer, and monitor patient treatments according to all clinical protocols Learn and operate the BrainsWay TMS machine and perform all components of TMS treatment, including, but not limited to: patient preparation, motor threshold determination, mapping and treatment, administration of all treatment protocols, and correctly monitoring patients throughout treatment sessions Provide and score weekly patient assessments, and provide updates to the appropriate staff Effectively administer C-SSRS assessments, when indicated, and follow protocol Field patient questions and provide education, within scope, regarding treatment and clinic procedures Cross-train in the Clinical Assistant role to provide coverage and assistance when needed Documentation & Administrative Duties Accurately enter patient demographics, treatment protocols, billing information, clinical notes, and appointment data into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) Complete administrative tasks including faxing, scanning, shredding, uploading documentation into the EHR system, etc. Maintain organized and accurate records in compliance with regulatory standards Serve as a liaison between the TMS Manager, providers, patients, and executive leadership Follow all TMS and company protocols to ensure consistency in care across clinics Support operational efficiency and meet required deadlines Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinic spaces, including treatment and examination rooms Assist with additional tasks as delegated by the TMS Manager, Clinic Manager, Provider, or Regional Director of Operations Scheduling Expectations & Requirements Flexibility, adaptability, and reliability are essential to ensuring continuity of patient care and maintaining efficient clinic operations, and is required in this role. Employees in this position are expected to: Travel to all clinic locations as required and agreed upon based on patient schedules and operational needs Maintain reliable personal transportation to support travel between clinics Work flexible hours, including morning, midday, evening, and occasional weekend shifts as needed Accept schedule adjustments or last-minute schedule changes when necessary to ensure adequate patient coverage Provide shift or clinic coverage when staffing shortages, call-outs, or operational needs arise Demonstrate flexibility in supporting multiple clinics, providers, and teams as directed by management Maintain a reliable attendance record and arrive on time for scheduled shifts Support clinic operations during periods of increased patient volume or staffing transitions Skills & Competencies Proficiency with Google Workspace (Docs, Sheets, Drive, Gmail) Strong interpersonal and customer service skills Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail Strong problem-solving abilities Excellent written and verbal communication skills Knowledge of healthcare regulations and confidentiality protocols, including HIPAA Ability to maintain strict patient confidentiality Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced healthcare environment Qualifications High School Diploma or equivalent required Bachelor’s Degree preferred Previous healthcare experience required (TMS experience highly preferred) Ability to learn and effectively utilize the Electronic Health Record system Valid CPR/AED certification or ability to obtain during training Ability to obtain BrainsWay TMS certification within one month of employment - training and certification will be provided Physical Demands Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 20 lbs when assisting patients or moving equipment Ability to sit or stand for extended periods during shifts Ability to move between treatment rooms and clinic areas throughout the day #J-18808-Ljbffr Relief Mental Health
