Job Overview:
Contemporary Staffing Solutions is seeking a Customer Account Specialist to join our client to support key business initiatives and contribute to the success of this role's primary objectives. This onsite, contract to hire opportunity is based in Bourbonnais, Illinois and focuses on delivering responsive customer support within a utility organization. The role is well suited for professionals who excel in fast paced service environments and can effectively manage a high volume of customer interactions. This position plays a key role in helping customers resolve account concerns while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and a positive service experience.

Compensation:
$20.00/hour

Work Schedule:
Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 6:00 PM EST

Key Responsibilities of the Customer Account Specialist:

• Deliver exceptional customer support by handling a large volume of inbound inquiries and resolving account related concerns in a professional manner.
• Maintain detailed and accurate customer records within internal systems while documenting interactions and updates in real time.
• Follow up with customers as needed to provide updates, answer questions, and ensure timely issue resolution.
• Support daily service operations by adhering to established schedules, performance expectations, and quality standards.
• Facilitate positive customer experiences through clear communication, active listening, and effective problem solving.

Qualifications and Skills for the Customer Account Specialist:

• Minimum of two years of experience in a customer service or call center environment with a strong record of handling substantial call volumes.
• Proficiency with computer applications, including Microsoft Office, Windows based systems, and working across multiple screens simultaneously.
• Ability to manage detailed data entry tasks while maintaining accuracy during customer interactions.
• Previous experience within the utilities sector is preferred but not required.
• Demonstrated reliability, strong attendance history, receptiveness to coaching, and the ability to perform effectively in a fast paced setting; candidates should reside within a reasonable commuting distance of the work location.
