MIKEL is currently looking for an experienced Configuration Management II to support our AN/BYG-1 Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) Team. Duties: Support the AN/BYG-1 Media Delivery Team in any tasks required including: Prepare transmittal paperwork for shipments Upload receipts and file electronically Track deliveries to ensure shipments have/had been received Review transmittals and shipments to ensure a quality product Handling and storage of classified and unclassified material Alfresco database (where documentation is found) Follow up with Squadrons to confirm deliveries and notifications via phone calls/emails. Work closely with Division Heads to ensure their availability for signature of approval for all deliveries Work closely with Installation Team Leads to determine installation requirements Other tasks as assigned associated with BYG-1 media shipment/movement Media duplication efforts for support with fleet installation media Required Skills: Effective communication, both verbal and written Good organizational skills and attention to detail Ability to work in a team environment Experience in MS Office including Word, Excel and Outlook High School Diploma Preferred Experience: Minimum 5 years’ experience with logistics/CM at NUWC Drafting and submitting DD-1149s for shipments Experience with Classified shipments Work Location: Middletown, RI MIKEL offers a competitive salary and a comprehensive benefits package that includes Medical/Dental/Vision Insurance, Flexible Spending Account (FSA), 401k Retirement Plan, Life Insurance, Disability Insurance, Paid Time Off (PTO), and Tuition Reimbursement.
