Hugg and Hall Equipment Company is looking for someone with strong customer service, communication, and sales skills to join our team as an Outside Rental Sales Representative. We are a full-service equipment company specializing in industrial and construction equipment since 1956. ABOUT THE POSITIONThe Rental Sales Representative will be responsible for rental sales, developing and maintaining relationships with current customers, and generating new rental business within their assigned territory. In this role, you will:Rent Industrial and Construction Equipment by making in-person sales calls with existing customers and identifying new prospects. Develop, Maintain and Manage strong customer relationships, responding to customer inquiries regarding equipment, maintaining product knowledge, and researching equipment, parts or products to meet specialized customer requirementsManage the Rental Order Process across multiple departments to provide ongoing support and project updates to customers and various internal teamsEnsure customer satisfaction and successful project completion using excellent communication skills and a teamwork mindsetREQUIREMENTSMinimum 1-3 years sales-related experienceWorking knowledge of construction and industrial equipment, with prior experience in the construction or similar industry a huge plusExcellent computer skills College degree in business or sales field preferred (high school education required)Ability to present and sell at all customer levelsAble to function efficiently in a team-oriented, collaborative work environment.Minimum 21 years of age with a clean driving recordCOMPENSATION/BENEFITSVery Competitive Compensation - [Salary Plus Commission]Company VehicleInsurance (Medical, Dental, Vision, and Life Insurances, plus several supplemental benefits)Generous PTO PlanPaid Holidays401k with company matchRELATED EXPERIENCE MAY INCLUDE: Account Manager, Territory Manager, Territory Sales, Counter Sales, Rental Sales, Parts Sales, Customer Service RepresentativeAbout UsFor 70 years, Hugg and Hall Equipment has been the industry leading, full-service industrial and construction equipment dealership in the South.
