Senior Commissioning Agent

We're hiring a Senior Commissioning Agent in Tampa to lead functional testing and validation of electrical systems across 24x7 mission-critical, pharmaceutical, healthcare, and power generation facilities. You'll work side by side with design engineers, vendors, contractors, and owner teams to make complex systems operational, optimized, and proven. What you'll do Develop and execute functional test plans for multi-stack equipment and redundant system configurations Write and administer Commissioning Plans and Systems Manuals Review specs, drawings, submittals, and design criteria; own the QA/QC process for your work and others' Conduct field inspections and issue detailed inspection reports Support project scheduling, staffing, and budget planning What you bring Bachelor's in Electrical or Mechanical Engineering (or equivalent experience) 7+ years hands-on field experience testing, validating, and troubleshooting large electrical or mechanical systems 7–10 years in the MEP field, including data center, industrial, pharmaceutical, or clean room environments Strong working knowledge of applicable codes and LEED fundamentals ASHRAE, BCxA, or PECI Cx / Retro-Cx experience is a plus What's in it for you $93,292 – $134,937 base, commensurate with experience and location Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, life, and supplemental plans 401(k) with generous employer match Professional development courses plus incentive bonuses Competitive PTO, transit/parking stipend, and half-day work-from-home Fridays year-round A collaborative, diverse culture where your work shows up in landmark projects worldwide Ready to see your commissioning expertise come to life on projects that matter? #J-18808-Ljbffr Shamrock Consulting
