Software Engineer - Asset & Wealth Management

Salary: $61,000 - 101,000 per year Requirements:

  • Formal software engineering training or certification, with 3+ years of applied experience
  • Experience developing, debugging, and maintaining code in a large corporate environment using modern programming languages such as Java and/or Python
  • Practical experience delivering system design, application development, testing, and operational stability
  • Ability to design, develop, and maintain scalable microservices
  • Solid understanding of the software development life cycle
  • Experience with CI/CD tooling, enterprise CI/CD, and source control platforms such as Bitbucket or GitHub
  • Practical cloud-native experience
  • Hands-on experience using approved AI-assisted software development tools in the workplace, with the ability to assess, validate, and refine AI-generated output for correctness, performance, and security
  • Understanding of responsible AI use in engineering workflows, including data sensitivity, secure handling of inputs and outputs, and resilience and security expectations, with the ability to guide peers on safe usage
  • Preferred: experience in Site Reliability Engineering and/or DevOps
  • Preferred: exposure to cloud technologies
  • Preferred: exposure to financial models
Responsibilities:
  • We design, build, and troubleshoot creative software solutions, taking a broad approach to solving technical challenges
  • We develop secure, high-quality production code and review and debug code written by others
  • We look for ways to remove or automate remediation of recurring issues to improve application and system stability
  • We analyze large and varied datasets and create visualizations and reports to support continuous improvement
  • We identify hidden data patterns and use those insights to strengthen coding practices and system architecture
  • We contribute to engineering communities of practice and events exploring emerging technologies
  • We help foster a team culture centered on diversity, opportunity, inclusion, and respect
