Warehouse Worker OpportunityImmediately hiring in the Lebanon, PA area for a full time job opportunity for experienced warehouse workers. The warehouse workers will be responsible for working in a fast paced distribution environment, picking and packing customer orders, pulling items, using the RF scanner to keep track of inventory and the items being picked, and the location that the items need to be moved to. Other skills include accurately selecting, staging, and transporting merchandise using a voice-directed system and powered warehouse equipment. This does offer weekly pay and a long term opportunity to work with this company.ResponsibilitiesUse a voice-directed (Voice Collect) headset to accurately pick and fill customer orders.Select, stage, and prepare merchandise for shipment according to established procedures.Fulfill orders efficiently using both walking and powered equipment, including forklifts and high-reach trucks.Load, stage, and move pallets to designated shipping and distribution areas.Operate forklifts, high-reach equipment, and other warehouse machinery safely and efficiently.Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area in accordance with warehouse safety guidelines.Follow all safety procedures, including proper use of equipment and adherence to facility rules.Work collaboratively with team members to meet productivity, accuracy, and quality standards.Use RF scanners and other warehouse technology to track inventory and confirm order accuracy.Adapt to varying work conditions, including different temperature zones and changing order volumes.Support weekend and holiday operations as required to meet business needs.Essential SkillsExperience operating forklifts, high-reach trucks, and other powered warehouse equipment.Ability to use voice-directed (Voice Collect) systems for order picking.Ability to walk or stand for extended periods of time throughout the shift.Ability to stoop, squat, and kneel on a regular basis to access products and complete tasks.Ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds as needed.Strong safety orientation and commitment to following all safety guidelines and procedures.Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-volume distribution environment.Willingness to work weekends and holidays as required.Attention to detail to ensure accurate order selection and staging.Ability to work effectively as part of a team in a warehouse setting.Job Type & LocationThis is a contract to hire position based out of Lebanon, PA.Pay and BenefitsThe pay range for this position is $21.75/hr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors.Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
