Remote Healthcare Controller

To support a physician-owned private practice, the full-time Remote Healthcare Controller will manage day-to-day accounting operations, oversee financial reporting, and coordinate physician partnership tax matters while working remotely within the United States. Key Responsibilities Oversee general ledger accounting, financial close processes, and prepare financial statements Coordinate with external CPA firms on partnership tax returns and maintain accurate records for physician entities Monitor cash balances, prepare cash flow forecasts, and coordinate retirement plan accounting and funding requirements Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience Significant progressive accounting experience, ideally in a Controller or similar role Demonstrated proficiency with QuickBooks and direct experience with partnership accounting and K-1 reporting Experience coordinating cash balance pension plans and managing financial reporting Strong Excel skills and ability to work independently in a remote environment
