Cyber Security Administrator

This is a 12+ month contract position based in Denver, Colorado, supporting cybersecurity and network administration for state agencies. The role focuses on firewall management, infrastructure modernization, and security compliance across multiple organizations. Responsibilities Review and execute Firewall Service Requests (FSRs), break-fix tickets, and formal change requests Facilitate the decommissioning and refresh of End-of-Life (EOL) hardware on a recurring basis Implement security controls and configurations to ensure compliance with IRS, FBI, and CJI standards Configure and manage Cisco ASA and Palo Alto firewalls Provide technical network security administration support to state agencies Qualifications Required Palo Alto Firewalls: hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewall features including zones, security policies, site-to-site VPN, network address translation (NAT), and basic threat prevention Cisco ASA Firewalls: configuration, troubleshooting, and rule management General Networking: foundational knowledge of routing protocols, subnetting, and OSI model #J-18808-Ljbffr Intone Inc
