MRI Tech Position

Our client, a leading health system in Westminster, CO, is seeking an MRI Tech to provide quality patient care within the medical imaging department. You will perform high-quality images and exams while maintaining sensitivity to patient needs and adhering to ACR practice guidelines and safety standards.

Responsibilities:

• Performs magnetic resonance scans to obtain high quality images while adhering to all rules and regulations pertaining to radiation safety.
• Produces quality images in a complete, accurate, and timely manner.
• Provides information and instruction to patient and/or family regarding the procedure and responds to their physical and emotional needs.
• Observes patient and equipment during the procedure and reports/documents unusual occurrences and records patient's condition.
• Maintains technical operation of equipment and notifies service when necessary.
• Performs IV starts and contrast administration as required.

Requirements:

• Required**:
• High School Diploma/G.E.D.
• Registered Radiology Technologist Radiology, Magnetic Resonance Imaging R.T. (R) and (MR)(ARRT)
• BLS American Heart Association
• Preferred**:
• Associate's Degree strongly preferred
• Bachelor's Degree
• One (1) year imaging experience is strongly preferred

Full Time

Compensation:

$36.50 - $61.47/hour
