Location: Springfield, Illinois | Salary: $60,000 per year | Status: Full-time, 50 hours per week

We are seeking a General Manager to learn store operations, lead and develop employees, and drive outstanding results. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader who thrives in a fast-paced retail or food service environment and takes pride in building a successful, high-performing team.

What You’ll Do:

• Oversee all aspects of daily store operations, ensuring efficiency and profitability.
• Hire, train, and lead a high-performing team committed to exceptional customer service.
• Deliver an outstanding customer experience and resolve issues promptly and professionally.
• Manage inventory, analyze sales trends, and implement strategies to drive growth.
• Ensure compliance with company policies as well as state and federal regulations.
• Foster a positive, accountable, and safety-focused workplace culture.
• Collaborate with upper management to align goals, improve performance, and support new initiatives.

What We’re Looking For:

• Proven management experience in retail, convenience, fuel, or food service.
• Strong leadership, communication, coaching, and team-building skills.
• Excellent problem-solving and decision-making abilities.
• Flexibility to work varying shifts and travel to other store locations as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable, personal transportation.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for extended periods.
• Successful completion of a background check, MVR, and 4-panel drug test.
• Completion of the Food Protection Manager Course within 30 days of hire.
• Possession of a valid driver’s license and a good driving record.
• Possession of a personal vehicle with the ability to drive yourself to and from work.
• Ability to be on-call for work-related issues or questions.
