Facility Information The Broward Health Sunrise Free-Standing Emergency Department is an innovative new emergency care facility designed to expand access to high-quality care for patients of all ages in the growing Sunrise community. Developed through a unique collaboration between Broward Health and Joe DiMaggio Children's Hospital, the facility will combine expert adult and pediatric emergency services under one roof, providing comprehensive care close to home. Conveniently located near Oakland Park Boulevard and NW 94th Avenue, the state-of-the-art facility will feature 15 emergency exam rooms, advanced X-ray and CT imaging capabilities, family-friendly waiting areas, and separate entrances for adult and pediatric patients.
