Quality Assurance SpecialistTo perform the job successfully, the incumbent's behavior must be consistent with the PRIDE values expected of all Mastronardi Produce employees be Passionate; have Respect; be Innovative; be Driven and strive for Excellence.Primary Responsibilities:Monitor and verify Critical control Points (CCPs) meet requirements and ensure any corrective actions are properly performed and recordedConduct and support internal audits and help ensure good manufacturing practices (GMPs) are being followedVerify and monitor product labeling and changeovers to ensure accurate labeling of all productsAcquire samples in accordance with aseptic technique and methodologiesCorrectly label and collect routine pre-harvest and post-harvest product samples as scheduledPerform sampling of the production environment using aseptic techniqueEnter sample orders into the laboratory portal per written proceduresEnsure samples are given to delivery drivers and that proper chain of custody is performedPerform data entry of results from validation studies or other special projectsMonitor inventory of PPE and other food safety and quality suppliesProvide training when requiredPerforms any other quality related tasks or special projects as assignedShift Schedule:5:30AM - 6PM - rotational shift:Week 1: Monday, Tuesday, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday.Week 2: Wednesday and Thursday.*Background check required*Equal Opportunity Employer This employer is required to notify all applicants of their rights pursuant to federal employment laws.
