Fine Jewelry Sales Associate

We are seeking a motivated Fine Jewelry Sales Associate to join a well-established retail jewelry environment in Owensboro, Kentucky. This opportunity is ideal for a sales-driven professional who enjoys building lasting relationships, exceeding sales goals, and helping customers celebrate life's most meaningful moments. Success in this role comes from delivering an exceptional customer experience, building trust, and creating long-term client relationships that generate repeat and referral business. While fine jewelry experience is preferred, we also welcome candidates from other consultative sales and customer-focused industries who are eager to learn the jewelry business.

Responsibilities:

• Build meaningful customer relationships through consultative selling and exceptional service.
• Develop and grow a personal client base through proactive outreach, follow-up, and clienteling.
• Meet or exceed individual sales goals and performance expectations.
• Assist customers with engagement rings, bridal jewelry, fashion jewelry, watches, and special occasion purchases.
• Generate repeat and referral business by delivering an outstanding customer experience.
• Participate in store events, promotions, and community outreach activities.
• Maintain an attractive showroom while assisting with merchandising, inventory, and daily store operations.
• Collaborate with leadership and fellow team members to achieve store goals.

Qualifications:

• 1 to 3+ years of consultative sales, luxury retail, or customer-facing sales experience.
• Proven ability to build relationships and achieve sales goals.
• Fine jewelry experience is preferred, but not required. Transferable sales and relationship-building experience is valued.

Working Conditions/Environment:

• Location: Onsite in Owensboro, KY
• Schedule: Tuesday through Friday: 10:00 AM to 5:30 PM, Saturday: 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM, Closed Sunday and Monday. Saturday availability is required and is part of the regular schedule.
• Retail showroom environment with a blend of customer-facing sales and operational responsibilities.
• No travel required.

Compensation:

• Starting hourly rate of $15.00 to $20.00 per hour, depending on experience.
