Location - Kansas City Area (Hybrid)

Hours - 15–20 hrs/week

Classification - Part-Time W-2 Employee

Pay Range - $15–$20/hr, based on experience

Platforms You'll Impact

• Instagram — brand storytelling, Reels, community engagement
• Facebook — community presence, event promotion, referral partner content
• LinkedIn — professional thought leadership for Trish Reedy and Planted Local Lending
• TikTok — short-form video content, educational and personality-driven

What You'll Do

Content Creation & Strategy

• Develop a monthly content calendar across all four platforms aligned to business goals, frequency is limited and unique to each account
• Produce short-form video content (Reels, TikToks) that are engaging, on-brand, and scroll-stopping
• Design and write static posts, graphics, and captions that reflect the Planted Local Lending and Trish Reedy brand voice
• Collaborate with Trish to capture authentic behind-the-scenes, educational, and community-driven content
• Repurpose content across platforms efficiently

Posting & Community Management

• Schedule and publish content consistently across all platforms
• Monitor comments, DMs, and engagement — respond in brand voice or flag for Trish
• Engage with referral partners, local businesses, and community accounts to grow reach

Analytics & Reporting

• Track performance metrics weekly (reach, engagement, follower growth, link clicks) using our CRM platform
• Deliver a simple monthly report highlighting wins, opportunities, and recommendations
• Stay current on social media trends and platform algorithm changes

What We're Looking For

Must-Haves

• A strong creative eye and ability to produce compelling short-form video content
• Comfort with a camera (filming content, directing Trish for on-camera clips), skilled behind the lens
• Proficiency with design tools (Canva, CapCut, or similar)
• Excellent writing skills — you can capture a brand voice and keep it consistent
• Organized, reliable, and proactive — you don't wait to be told what to post
• Genuine enthusiasm for community, authenticity, and women-owned business

Nice-to-Haves

• Experience with Hubspot
• Basic photography or videography skills
• Familiarity with analytics dashboards
• Interest in personal finance, homeownership, or local Kansas City community

You Do NOT Need

• A degree in marketing (portfolio and passion matter more)
• Mortgage or real estate industry experience — we'll teach you what you need to know
• Years of experience — we care more about your hustle, creativity, and brand instincts

What Success Looks Like in the First 90 Days

• Month 1: You've learned both brands inside and out, built a content calendar, and are posting consistently across all four platforms.
• Month 2: Engagement is growing, a content rhythm is established, and you're proactively bringing content ideas to the table.
• Month 3: You're delivering monthly analytics reports, experimenting with new formats, and becoming a true creative partner.
