Account Manager (Hospitality & Contract) Work Type: Full Time Schedule Requirement: Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5: 3 0 p.m. Position Overview STARK is hiring an Account Manager to lead and grow our Hospitality & Contract business across the West Coast, based out of our Los Angeles showroom. This role owns relationships with hospitality groups, contract designers, architecture firms, purchasing agents, and general contractors — managing the full sales cycle from specification through delivery. The ideal candidate understands the pace and complexity of hospitality and contract projects: RFQs, spec packages, custom development, lead times, and multi-stakeholder decision-making. Key Responsibilities Account Development & Business Growth: Develop and manage a portfolio of hospitality and contract accounts across the West Coast, including hotel groups, design firms, purchasing/procurement companies, and general contractors. Drive new business development within the hospitality and contract segment through prospecting, showroom visits, and industry events. Represent STARK at industry events, trade shows, and hospitality design association functions (e.g., BDNY, HD Expo, NEWH, local IIDA chapters). Guide clients through specification, custom rug and broadloom development, and quoting for large-scale and multi-unit projects. Partner with STARK's design and production teams to manage custom development timelines, samples, and strike-offs for contract-scale orders. Track project pipelines and order status from quote through delivery, coordinating with purchasing agents and contractors on schedules and timelines. Maintain accurate account and opportunity data in HubSpot, including project stage, product mix, and revenue forecasting. Collaborate with the showroom team and Showroom Manager on territory strategy, account planning, and quarterly goals. Perform other duties as assigned. Job Requirements & Qualifications 3+ years of sales experience in hospitality, contract, or commercial interiors (flooring, textiles, furniture, or related trade product experience strongly preferred). Background in design — a degree, coursework, or professional experience in interior design, architecture, or a related field. Existing relationships with hospitality design firms, purchasing companies, or contract procurement teams across West Coast markets are a strong plus. Understanding of the hospitality and contract project lifecycle: RFQs, specification, bid/quote processes, and project-based purchasing. Comfortable managing long sales cycles and multiple concurrent projects at varying stages. Strong communication and relationship-management skills with designers, architects, procurement teams, and contractors. CRM proficiency (HubSpot or similar) and comfort with quoting/order systems.
