Key Responsibilities of the RN - Med/Surg

• Assist in rehabilitation care plan established by the interdisciplinary team
• Perform lab draws, administer IV antibiotics and medications
• Conduct blood administration as needed
• Complete head to toe assessments
• Educate patients and family members on care plan and rehabilitation programs

Requirements of the RN - Med/Surg

• Minimum 1-year current acute care hospital Med/Surg experience
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
• Preferred: CRRN Certification, knowledge of Quality Indicator scoring in a post-acute setting, ACLS certification
