Position Objective The Sales Manager is responsible for driving revenue growth by developing new business opportunities, maintaining strong client relationships, and executing strategic sales and marketing initiatives. This role plays a vital part in enhancing the guest experience, promoting our hotels within the community, and supporting the overall success of the properties through a proactive, urgent, and can-do attitude. Key Responsibilities Sales & Revenue Generation * Achieve weekly sales call and prospecting goals. * Develop and solicit new corporate, group, and leisure business. * Meet or exceed monthly and annual revenue objectives. * Analyze market trends and competitor activity to identify new business opportunities. * Coordinate advertising, promotions, and community outreach efforts. * Prepare and submit weekly sales activity reports to hotel leadership. * Maintain accurate sales records, contracts, and group files. Client & Community Relations * Build and maintain strong relationships with local businesses, organizations, universities, and community partners. * Participate in networking events, trade shows, client appreciation events, and community organizations, including the Chamber of Commerce and Convention & Visitors Bureau. * Conduct hotel tours and presentations for prospective clients. * Travel as needed to meet with existing and potential customers.
