American Traveler is seeking a travel Maternal Fetal Medicine Sonographer for a 13-week assignment in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Assignment Overview Shift: Days, 4x10 hrs Hours: 40 hrs/wk Start Date: Aug 3 2026 Length: 13 weeks Openings: 1 Details Mobile outreach position serving clinic locations in Gallup, Farmington and Santa Fe, NM Sonographer departs daily from the Albuquerque base clinic at 5:15 AM and returns between 6:30-7:00 PM A driver transports the sonographer on Mondays, Wednesdays and Thursdays; the sonographer drives the outreach van on Tuesdays (Gallup) and Fridays (Santa Fe) Patient population consists of pregnant women requiring low- and high-level women's imaging Equipment: GE E22, GE E10 and GE S10 ultrasound machines Charting performed in Cerner Shift times account for travel between facilities No weekend requirements No on-call requirements Requirements Minimum 5 years of sonography experience ARDMS OB/GYN, ARDMS (general) and ARDMS FE (Fetal Echo) certifications required Current BLS certification required NM state license required (pending license accepted) Must work independently without direct supervision Must drive the outreach van on designated days (safe-driving module completion required) Candidates must reside in Albuquerque; locals within 100 miles are not eligible Additional Information Perform low- and high-level OB/GYN ultrasound imaging for pregnant patients at multiple outreach clinic sites Comfortable working independently and as part of a small traveling team Sonographer will park at and clock in/out from the Eubank Clinic base location where the outreach vans are staged Level I Trauma, academic teaching and children's hospital system with 554 staffed beds Scrub color is burgundy Parking provided at no cost First-time travelers are welcome to apply RTO requests exceeding 7 days require approval Vaccination optional; vaccination status reporting required by the facility (upload series or signed declination) Pay Package Pay package based on 10-hour shifts and 40 hours per week.
