Job Title: X-Ray Technician

Location: Long Island City, NY
Shift: 4:00 PM – 12:00 AM
Duration: 9 Weeks (Possible Extension)

We are seeking a skilled X-Ray Technologist to operate radiologic imaging equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role involves preparing patients for procedures, ensuring safety protocols are followed, and maintaining compliance with regulatory standards to protect both patients and staff.

• Establish rapport with patients to understand service needs and ensure cooperation
• Prepare patients for imaging procedures, including positioning and equipment setup
• Operate radiologic equipment and adjust exposure factors as needed
• Apply radiation protection techniques to minimize exposure to patients and staff
• Follow infection control policies and safety protocols
• Maintain accurate imaging and patient documentation
• Support team operations and complete assigned duties as needed
• Maintain annual age-specific competency requirements

• 0–2 years of experience as a Radiologic Technologist
• Graduate of a JRCERT-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Strong knowledge of diagnostic procedures and radiographic techniques
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• High attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

• New York State License (L.R.T.)
• American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT Certified)

• Graduate of an AMA-approved School of Radiologic Technology
• Strong planning, organizational, and patient care skills
